My 2011 In Pictures

Now that 2011 is coming to a close, I wanted to do a year end post with the highlights of my year just as I had done the last two years. But this year I want to do something different and the other day I came across an idea. I follow Kristen at "From Kristen, With Love" and she did a "2011 In Pictures" blog post, which inspired me to blog my highlights in pictures rather that just listing them! With that being said, here's a look back on my life in 2011. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

~ January ~

We took a trip to Charleston for the Boone Hall Oyster Festival.

While there that weekend, we spent a day at the Patriots Point Naval Maritime Museum.
February

We celebrated our 1st Valentine's day. Instead of flowers & candy, PJ got me flowers & a fruit basket. He knows me so well :)

That same month, PJ's niece (Addison) was born.

March

PJ's family visits and we take a trip to Riverbanks Zoo.

April

I ran in the Cooper River Bridge 10K Run again after a 2 year hiatus due to a car accident.

And I beat my sister's time this year!

While in Charleston that weekend for the race, PJ and I visited the Firefly distillery.
And we had our caricature done at the Cajun Festival on John's Island.
Later that month the owner of my company treated his employees to a Harbor Cruise in Charleston on his boat, The Salty Dog!

May

My friends and I created a team and participated in the Relay For Life in honor of our friend, Chris Burkett. We raised just over $4,000 in a matter of 3-4 weeks!
I celebrated another birthday!

June

We bought a quick-setup above ground pool.

July

Auntie Maria visits newborn baby Caleb!
(My best friend's little sister delivers a healthy baby boy on 07/13/11)

That same month, PJ buys his first motorcycle and begins wrenching it.
I'm so proud of him!

August

We took a spur-of-the-moment trip to Table Rock Mountain for a weekend camping trip and I talked PJ into taking the day hiking trip with me up the mountain.

September

Our first vacation road trip! We spent 10 days traveling to Ohio to Pennsylvania to New York City to Upstate New York then all the way back home.
What a whirlwind trip! I LOVED it!

October

I participated in a Cancer Awareness motorcycle ride that my friend Beth organized.
PJ and I dress up as the Queen of Hearts and the Mad Hatter for Halloween.
November

The Britt brothers held their "3rd Annual Britts Thanksgiving Bash".
December

I participated in my first ever Toys For Tots Motorcycle Ride.
My friend Brandi and I volunteered our time to do holiday gift wrapping for Happy Wheels at a local Barnes & Noble.
I was blessed to celebrate another Christmas season with my loved ones!

Get ready 2012, here we come!
